Our Story
Where West African Soul Meets American Nights
Skyvibe Restaurant & Lounge was born from a simple conviction: that the warmth of Nigerian cooking and the energy of an American night out belong on the same street corner. Tucked into 352 Main Street in the heart of Laurel, Maryland, we serve the neighborhoods of College Park, Beltsville, Savage, Greenbelt, Jessup, and the wider Washington, DC area — a crossroads where families, food lovers, and nightlife crowds all find a table with their name on it.
By day we are a gathering place for leisurely dining — fresh garden salads, harvest plates of whole fried fish and lamb chops, and desserts worth lingering over. By night the lights drop, the cocktails glow, and the lounge becomes one of Prince George's County's most distinctive destinations for Afro-fusion dining and entertainment. Whether you come for a quiet dinner for two or a celebration for forty, the same promise holds: bold flavor, generous hospitality, and a room that remembers you.
A Menu Rooted in Two Worlds
Our kitchen builds every plate from West African tradition and American craft. Traditional signatures — egusi, efo riro, ayamase, and seafood okra served with eba, pounded yam, or amala — sit beside suya burgers, jollof burritos, island pasta, and whole fried snapper. It is Nigerian-American fusion cooked with intention, not novelty.
A Bar Built for the Night
The cocktail program runs from $8 happy hour classics to smoked old fashioneds and our shimmering Skyvibe Signature. Bartenders pour Sunday-through-Wednesday happy hour specials, shareable pitchers, and celebration towers designed to keep the whole table glowing until close.

After dark, the room changes. Afro-house sets, live DJ nights, and themed evenings turn dinner into a nightlife experience — a rare combination of full-service restaurant and late-night lounge under one roof in Laurel.
